We Object: Fake protest

Rules
1. Protest topics will be assigned by the organizers and cannot be changed.
2. Preparation time will be 10 minutes.
3. Protest duration will be 3 to 5 minutes.
4. Participants may use placards, chants, speeches, coordinated movements, and crowd work.
5. Content must remain non political, non offensive, and suitable for a general audience.
6. Arguments must remain internally consistent, even if logically unsound.
7. Excessive deviation from the assigned topic will affect scoring.
8. The judges’ decision will be final.

Objections
1. Deviation: Straying from the assigned protest topic.
2. Incoherence: Lack of a clear protest demand or message.
3. Repetition: Overuse of identical slogans or chants.
4. Loss of Character: Breaking protest persona or seriousness.
5. Time Violation: Exceeding the allotted duration.
